During his appearance on the United Stand, Ben Jacobs confirmed that the North Londoners’ drop would indeed boost Man Utd’s chances, as INEOS have been seeking a similar profile to bolster their backline.

Why Senesi could be enticing profile for Man United

With Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt struggling for fitness, the Man Utd management feels the urge to sign a new centre-back, especially with the club potentially navigating through 60 matches or so next season.
