"Naturally, given the huge number of supporters of the Spanish League in Morocco, this is still very likely. We also like the idea of holding a match in the new stadium in Casablanca. Who knows? Why not?"
Tebas was speaking to the Arab Press Agency of the Maghreb.
Earlier this season, La Liga sought to take Villarreal v Barcelona to Miami, gaining FIFA and UEFA approval before scrapping the plan after a supporter backlash.
"Our expansion in the Middle East and North Africa is extremely important. We have a huge fan base there, it could even be bigger than the Premier League."
He has vowed to keep pushing for a game in the United States, while wanting other countries to experience top-level Spanish football. Morocco, co-host of the 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal, is among the options.
Any switch to Morocco could still draw criticism, although proximity to Spain may make it more acceptable for travelling supporters.
Whether a La Liga match is staged in Morocco remains to be seen, and for now it appears some way down the line.
