Jayden Lienou has received his first senior Wales call-up from Wales boss Craig Bellamy for next week’s friendlies against Ghana and Romania.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the 18-year-old Leeds United full back joined from Manchester City’s academy last summer.

He impressed for the club’s under-21s, then moved to the fringes of the first team at the end of the Premier League campaign.

Lienou made the bench for the end-of-season meetings with Brighton and Tottenham, though he remained an unused substitute.

He has previously represented Wales at up to under-19 level.
