Ligue 1+ is open to being carried on Canal+ in future, but major sticking points remain, Jérôme Cazadieu has confirmed.
"The door is open for Canal+, but not on any terms," said the Ligue 1+ marketing and editorial director, speaking to RMC on Sunday morning.
"The conditions must be in place so we have distribution on the same basis as our current distributors. That was not the case with Canal+'s offer last summer," he said.
The LFP has set two conditions, an end to legal action against it and inclusion of Ligue 1+ in Canal+'s sport pack, which the broadcaster currently refuses.
Canal+ chief Maxime Saada said last week he was in favour of carrying Ligue 1+ from next season, reviving talk of the league returning to its long-time home.
Cazadieu also acknowledged that Ligue 1+ subscription prices are set to change as the channel takes every Ligue 1 match next season, along with Ligue 3, adding that those subscribed this season will receive a preferential rate.
