Jérôme Rothen says he would prefer Paris Saint-Germain to claim a second Champions League than France to lift a third World Cup. Speaking to L'Équipe, the former PSG winger set out his view in a quick-fire segment.
He explained that it feels more meaningful to him because PSG is in his blood and heart, and his earliest football memories are tied to the club, which makes it different.
The pundit hosts Rothen s'enflamme on RMC every day from 18:00 to 20:00. The show will run through the World Cup, from 11 June to 19 July.
Before covering the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal this Saturday alongside Jean-Louis Tourre, he took part in the T'es plutôt? game.
He also weighed up Kylian Mbappé or Ousmane Dembélé, Thierry Henry as consultant or coach, Didier Deschamps or Zinédine Zidane as manager, Daniel Riolo or Walid Acherchour as editorialist, and Christophe Dugarry or Éric Di Meco as pundit. The answers are in a video.
