Barcelona are preparing for a decisive run of fixtures, and the club’s leadership is stepping in to reinforce belief within the dressing room ahead of the clash with Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona are entering a demanding stretch that includes three clashes against Atletico Madrid across La Liga and the Champions League, with a derby against Espanyol also scheduled in between.

With so much at stake, the club see this as a key moment to strengthen morale.

Laporta to instil confidence

Although Laporta will not officially take charge until July 1, when the new board begins its term, his influence within the squad remains strong.

The players backed him heavily in the elections, and his presence is viewed as a source of emotional support during crucial moments of the season.

The visit has also been approved by Hansi Flick, who sees it as a timely boost.

Notably, Barcelona have recently been hit by the injury to Raphinha, a setback that has affected the mood within the camp.

In this context, Laporta’s message is expected to lift spirits ahead of a challenging sequence of matches.

Flick believes that having both Laporta and Yuste address the players could inject positive energy into the squad at this point in the campaign, helping them maintain focus and intensity.

Lastly, the outlet further states that Laporta is also set to attend the Women’s Champions League Clasico against Real Madrid as a guest.

In what is going to be a decisive stretch of the season for Barcelona and Flick, Laporta’s word will carry significant weight that could instil a much-needed confidence in the team.
