With one round remaining in the Saudi League, João Félix has been shortlisted for Player of the Year alongside several familiar Portuguese faces.
According to Glorioso 1904, the former Benfica forward is joined by Cristiano Ronaldo, his Al Nassr team-mate, and Rúben Neves, who represents Al Hilal.
Félix’s inclusion caps a campaign in which he has delivered career-best numbers and established himself as a key figure for Al Nassr.
Jorge Jesus, coach of the Riyadh club, is also nominated for Coach of the Year after guiding Al Nassr towards a possible title. The side are one win from securing the trophy, despite sustained pressure from second-placed Al Hilal.
Valued at 25 million euros, Félix has made 46 appearances for Al Nassr this season, 32 in the Saudi League, 10 in the Champions 2 da Ásia, two in the Taça do Rei da Arábia Saudita and two in the Supertaça. In 3,692 minutes, he has scored 26 goals and supplied 17 assists.
