Panichelli has been in red-hot form for Strasbourg this season, bagging 10 goals in 12 games, which includes a double against Paris Saint-Germain.

The 23-year-old is also Ligue 1’s top scorer with nine goals.

His team-mate Valentino Barco has made it to the squad following his influential performances for the French underdogs this season.

The 21-year-old has been the cornerstone of Strasbourg’s midfield, racking up a goal and four assists in the last five Ligue 1 games.

Barco’s impressive ball-carrying, vision and playmaking, combined with good reading of the game, have earned him a comparison with Barcelona’s midfield genius Pedri.

Prestianni has had a brilliant campaign in the U20 World Cup, where Argentina ended as runner-up.

The 19-year-old wing talent has been starting to make his stride with Benfica this season, which should have caught the attention of Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni.

Scaloni has picked Prestianni ahead of Chelsea’s Alejandro Garnacho, who has been overlooked again.

Atletico Madrid quartet of Julian Alvarez, Thiago Almada, Giuliano Simeone and Nico Gonzalez have been summoned.

Lionel Messi, Alexis Mac Allister, Enzo Fernandez, Lautaro Martinez and Cristian Romero are some of the prominent names included in the squad.

Como duo Maximo Perrone and Nico Paz have made the cut. Paz has been performing at the peak of his powers this season, bagging four goals and four assists in eight Serie A games.
