Jocelyn Prêcheur is no longer head coach of London City Lionesses. The club said in a statement on Sunday that it had parted company with the French coach after just over a year, adding that, after careful consideration, it was time to begin a new cycle and pursue a different strategic direction for the next phase of development.
Prêcheur, 43, was appointed ahead of the 2024-25 season after a spell with PSG Women.
He led London City Lionesses to the Women’s Super League by winning D2.
After 11 WSL matches, they are sixth, seven points off the podium and 15 behind leaders Manchester City.
The club also made the biggest transfer in women’s football history by signing Grace Geyoro.
