Liverpool have been handed a blow on Saturday during the club's pre-season clash with Sunderland in the United States.

Only seven minutes into the match, defender Joe Gomez went down and immediately required treatment from staff.

The 29-year-old was captured shaking his head before ultimately opting to come off the pitch.
