Jordan Pickford (31) is poised to extend his stay at Everton after agreeing terms on a new long-term contract that could see him remain at the club for the rest of his career.
According to Sky Sports News, the 31-year-old England goalkeeper has reached an agreement on a new four-year deal, expected to be signed before Everton’s trip to Manchester City this weekend. The extension will take Pickford well beyond his current contract, which runs until 2027, and could keep him at Goodison Park for another 5 years.
Pickford, now in his ninth season with the Toffees, has become one of the club’s most consistent and influential figures since joining from Sunderland in 2017. Despite Everton’s battles against relegation in recent years, he has remained a pillar of reliability and continues to hold the England No.1 spot under Thomas Tuchel.
Club sources say Everton are confident Pickford feels “happy, settled and committed” to the long-term project, buoyed by optimism surrounding the new stadium development and the improved performances under David Moyes.
