Jorge Costa documentary split into four episodes with more than 50 exclusive interviews | OneFootball

Porto said in a statement that a four-part documentary, 'O Capitão', on former captain Jorge Costa will air soon, announced one year after his death.

The series charts Costa’s life and career and features previously unseen footage and more than 50 exclusive interviews.

Contributors include former team-mates João Pinto, Vítor Baía, Costinha and Aloísio.

Coaches Fernando Santos and José Mourinho appear, alongside Nelson Matos, his first coach at FC Foz, and Álvaro Silva, his first youth coach at Porto.

Opponents and international colleagues such as João Vieira Pinto, Sá Pinto, Pauleta and Nuno Gomes are also involved, plus family and close friends.

There are also testimonies from prime minister Luís Montenegro, FIFA president Gianni Infantino, Portuguese federation president Pedro Proença and Porto president André Villas-Boas.
