Blackburn Rovers beat Queens Park Rangers 3-1 at Loftus Road to climb from 22nd to 19th in the Championship table.
In the 21st minute, Mathias Jorgensen ran through and finished low after Ryoya Morishita's through ball.
Koki Saito levelled for Queens Park Rangers from close range (35.), but Jorgensen restored the lead with a neat finish after Sondre Trondstad's pass (40.).
After the restart, Morishita glanced in a header from Trondstad's cross (50.) to give Blackburn daylight.
Early on, Balazs Toth kept Blackburn in front with sharp stops from Richard Kone and later denied Jimmy Dunne as the hosts pushed late. An enforced change saw Lewis Miller replaced by Harry Pickering early in the second half.
Queens Park Rangers saw plenty of the ball and registered 21 attempts with 57.8% possession. Blackburn were resolute, making 48 clearances and scoring from four shots on target out of seven.
Queens Park Rangers remain 13th. Next, they visit Hull. Blackburn Rovers host Preston North End next.
