Joseph Baffoe signs with Örebro SK

Free since his departure from Halmstads BK, the Swedish-Ghanaian central defender Joseph Baffoe has found a new club.

The experienced 32-year-old centre-back has officially signed with Örebro SK until the end of the season. Without a club for several months, the Ghanaian international now returns to the Superettan league with the mission of helping Örebro secure their survival.

"This is an excellent signing for us. Joseph brings speed, power, and leadership. We are confident he will be invaluable in the battle to stay in Superettan," said Enes Ahmetovic, the club’s sporting director. Baffoe, for his part, made no secret of his motivation:
