Samuel Luckurst has slammed Manuel Ugarte for his late antics as Manchester United were seeing out a draw at Bournemouth.
The Red Devils drew tonight for just the second time since Michael Carrick took the reins, despite leading twice in the 100-minute affair.

While any points being dropped are costly in the top-four race, it’s worth remembering that the Cherries were unbeaten in 10 matches heading into kick-off, a feat they’ve now extended to 11 following Eli Junior Kroupi’s late leveller from the spot.
This season, only Arsenal and Everton have done enough to leave the Vitality Stadium with wins to their name, with Bournemouth making their home soil something of a fortress under Andoni Iraola.
Plenty of the aftermath will focus on the controversial refereeing decisions made by Stuart Atwell, and rightly so.
However, Luckhurst singled out Ugarte for his own disastrous decision-making in the dying embers.
He said on X/Twitter: “Into the 100th minute and Manuel Ugarte decides to needlessly foul an opponent on the touchline just inside MUFC’s third with them down to ten men and clinging on for a point. A £50.75 million dud.”
The Uruguayan is one player in the squad who’s undoubtedly overseeing a lacklustre campaign.
It’s thought he will be on the move this summer, just two years after signing from Paris Saint-Germain, albeit it’s a decision Ugarte is set to welcome, as he is reportedly unhappy with his game time at Old Trafford.
Of course, the lack of European and cup action has meant that fringe players, such as the midfielder and Joshua Zirkzee, are featuring even less than they expected, but Ugarte will know that he is not going to be a first-choice in the middle of the park moving forward irrespective of what competitions United are in.
