Jürgen Klopp makes call on Real Madrid manager’s job | OneFootball

The board at La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week been dealt a blow in their ongoing search for a new head coach.

This comes amid confirmation that Jürgen Klopp has no interest in taking up the managerial reins in Spain’s capital.

Klopp has of course seen his name reemerge as a prominent one in the media headlines surrounding Real Madrid across the week to date.

Whilst seeking out a replacement for the departing Álvaro Arbeloa, Florentino Pérez and co. are understood to have singled the former Liverpool headmaster out as a leading candidate.

If the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, however, then interest in a joining of forces between the parties is far from mutual…

As per a report from Diario AS, Klopp has his sights set firmly elsewhere:

‘Jürgen Klopp is waiting for the German national team job. He’s in no hurry and has great respect for the work of Nagelsmann, the current German coach. It’s his goal.’
