QPR have a potentially exciting future heading into the summer and beyond, with Julien Stephan set for a potential cash windfall after a triple boost.

QPR's 6-1 win against Portsmouth was a huge victory for Julien Stephan's side, even if the play-offs are out of reach for the Hoops.

They have a 10-point gap to Southampton in sixth to try and bridge during the final seven games of the season, with QPR also 14 above the drop zone and now looking towards 2026/27.

It will be their 12th consecutive year at the level, but QPR have a strong foundation to build upon. That is underlined by the fact only Sheffield Wednesday, Norwich City, and Watford have a lower average age of squad than QPR.

Harvey Vale’s pair of assists, coupled with magnificent braces from Rayan Kolli and Richard Kone, offered a glimpse into a future that could be both exciting on the pitch and hugely valuable off it.
