With Victor Osimhen and Dusan Vlahovic currently waiting for offers, Gazzetta suggests Napoli and Juventus should consider a swap deal involving the two strikers.
La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that Napoli and Juventus should consider a swap deal between Osimhen and Vlahovic.
A swap deal between the two centre-forwards is not currently on the clubs’ table, but the pink paper suggests it is a pathway that the two clubs should evaluate.
“Why aren’t Napoli and Juventus, along with the players involved, considering a swap deal between Osimhen and Vlahovic? Naturally, this would need to follow the guidelines for the current market, with a cash income for Aurelio De Laurentiis,” wrote the pink paper.
“From a technical standpoint, what could be better than a swap deal?”

Vlahovic’s contract expires in June 2026, and he’s unwilling to sign an extension which would come with a pay cut. The Serbia international has already turned down an offer from Fenerbahce. Osimhen, on the other hand, is set to return from a loan spell at Galatasaray and has been identified as a top target by the Bianconeri.
Juventus, however, can’t activate his €75m clause, which is only valid for clubs outside Serie A.

“Vlahovic and Osimhen are two high-profile strikers looking for a significant career reboot. Juventus would get their ideal striker in Osimhen, a player who dominates the penalty area and can capitalise on the creativity of talents like Kenan Yildiz,” Gazzetta continued.
“Napoli, on the other hand, would acquire a young striker in Vlahovic, 25, who could be the perfect successor to Romelu Lukaku and, in the meantime, his ideal strike partner.
“Impossible? Too many ifs? Maybe. However, consider the benefits for all four parties involved. Napoli and Juventus wouldn’t have to wait for an offer that may never come, delaying their search for a replacement. Osimhen and Vlahovic would not remain in a limbo, waiting for a call that, strategically speaking, may not arrive anytime soon.”
Osimhen has rejected an offer from Al-Hilal and is under contract with Napoli until 2026, although the Partenopei have an option to extend for a further campaign.
