Juventus have made it their primary mission to sign Victor Osimhen this summer, Alfredo Pedulla reports. The Nigerian striker is up for grabs and at a reasonable price.

He is subject to interest from Premier League giants Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United, but Juventus are considered front-runners at the moment.

Reports from Italy claim Juventus have upped the ante over the past few days as they look to get a deal for the 26-year-old striker over the line.

They’ve also been boosted by the fact that Osimhen is open to a move to Turin.

Osimhen has always wanted to play in the Premier League, but despite interest from the top guns, none of them have made any official proposals.

They’re all baulking at his lofty wage demands, and so far, there’s no indication that the striker will shift his stance.

Nevertheless, the Premier League trio are still keeping a close eye on his situation. Osimhen has thrived since joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli.

He has been in red-hot form this season, notching 33 goals and eight assists in 38 games across all competitions.

The Nigerian international also powered the Turkish giants to the league title with 24 goals in 28 games and is considered one of the most lethal strikers in European football.

While there’s no buy option in the loan agreement, Osimhen’s contract with Napoli comes with a €75 million (£63m) release clause.

Gala had devised a plan to activate that clause, but Osimhen has his heart set on a move to either the Premier League or Juventus this summer.

Amidst the transfer saga, there has been a leaked phone call involving Juventus’ sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli.

He appeared to deny Juventus’ interest in Osimhen, but insiders believe that was a deliberate move aimed at managing expectations.

Behind the scenes, Juventus are still very much in the hunt.

At the moment, United, Chelsea, and Arsenal are pursuing other targets, so that could pave the way for Juventus to complete a deal for the Nigerian striker.
