Milan Škriniar has shifted to a backup role at Paris Saint-Germain, with manager Luis Enrique favoring Willian Pacho and Marquinhos as his starting center-backs. As a result, the veteran defender could be on his way out in the coming weeks.
During the summer, Škriniar was linked to several clubs but opted to stay at PSG. Now, with the January transfer window approaching, a move seems increasingly likely. A return to Serie A, where he thrived with Inter Milan, appears to be a strong possibility.
In October, CalcioMercato’s Daniele Longo reported that the Slovakian defender informed his agent of his preference to return to Italy, with a potential loan to Juventus on the table.
A report from Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna in November revealed that Škriniar and Juventus have reached a verbal agreement. Talks are now underway between PSG and the Italian club to finalize.

Amid the Škriniar rumors, the Italian media suggest that Juventus have outlined different plans for the January transfer window.
According to Tuttosport (h/t Le10Sport), the club are weighing a decision between Antonio Silva from Benfica and Dávid Hancko from Feyenoord to strengthen their center-back options. Talks with Silva’s agent, Jorge Mendes, are reportedly already underway.
