Juventus are pressing to wrap up moves for Randal Kolo Muani and Jhon Lucumi before the end of the month, with the finishing touches now the only thing standing in the way.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Kolo Muani is edging ever closer, the France forward informed of Juventus’ firm intention to top up their latest package with bonuses to a total slightly above €40m in order to close the deal with Paris Saint-Germain.

The French club opened at €50m, and the Bianconeri are working on the variable element and a sell-on clause to erase the final gap.

The lengthy mediation of Giovanni Carnevali and Frederic Massara first cooled tensions left over from last year before drawing the parties together, though Juventus’ real trump card remains the player’s own desire to make the move.

That same will is shaping the Lucumi negotiation. The Colombian has put offers from Galatasaray and Besiktas on hold precisely to honour his understanding with Juventus.

A defensive sale would give the talks with Bologna fresh momentum, a subject Carnevali and Bologna’s Claudio Fenucci discussed on the margins of the recent Lega assembly.

Martinez wait leaves Juventus weighing Suzuki and Vicario

In goal, the name of Emiliano Martinez has not entirely dropped out of the picture; Luciano Spalletti wants him and is prepared to wait a few more days.

With time tight, though, contacts with the alternatives are intensifying.

Guglielmo Vicario is keen to return to Italy and reunite with his former national team boss, with a loan and option around €15m mooted, the goalkeeper is out of Roberto De Zerbi’s plans at Tottenham and skipped the tour, partly to manage a minor ankle issue.

Zion Suzuki, valued at a minimum of €30m, is also tracked by PSG and Aston Villa.
