After having suffered an injury towards the end of the La Liga season, Endrick did not travel to the USA with the rest of the Real Madrid squad for the FIFA Club World Cup.

However, having recovered from the problem earlier than initially anticipated, the 18-year-old striker flew to the North American nation to link up with his teammates this past weekend.

It is still unclear as to whether Endrick will play a part in the tournament or not but being around the squad and training and learning under new manager Xabi Alonso will be a big positive for the youngster.

Even more so considering that the recent emergence of Gonzalo Garcia as a backup striker has created some uncertainty over the Brazilian’s role.

Juventus interested in Endrick

As such, Tuttosport (h/t AS) claims that Juventus are closely monitoring Endrick’s situation at Real Madrid this summer.

The Italian heavyweights are prepared to take advantage of the youngster’s current predicament and make a move to sign him if he were to become available.

Juventus are understood to be open to a loan deal or a permanent move for the 18-year-old striker, who has scored seven and assisted one goal in his debut season with Los Blancos.

The Bianconeri are set to face Real Madrid on Tuesday in the Round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup. They may use the occasion to broach the topic of Endrick.

Real Madrid counting on Endrick

However, the report clarifies that Real Madrid, at this point, have no desire to let go of the young centre-forward.

Indeed, the Spanish capital giants are clear that they do not intend to sell Endrick this summer and are counting on him for the upcoming season.

It will be interesting to see how manager Xabi Alonso juggles with his attacking options, more so with the emergence of Gonzalo Garcia, but for now, Endrick appears set to stay put at Real Madrid.
