Juventus are looking to hijack Inter Milan’s deal to sign Marseille winger Luis Henrique.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They suggest that the 23-year-old could be “the new Bremer.”

Inter Milan have decided on Luis Henrique as their priority target at wingback.

The Brazilian is the player the Nerazzurri want as backup and competition for Denzel Dumfries on the right flank.

Inter already have a number of options on the flanks. Matteo Darmian has been the main backup for Dumfries for a few seasons now.

But the Nerazzurri are prioritizing adding real quality in the role. Particularly with Darmian now 35 and being phased out, as well as also playing in defense.

By all accounts, Inter Milan have a firm advantage in the race to sign Luis Henrique.

The Nerazzurri have an agreement in hand with the player. They have agreed terms on a five-year deal worth €2.2 million net per season, rising over the course of the contract.

Meanwhile, Inter have been in talks with Marseille for weeks now.

The two clubs are getting closer and closer to derisively negotiating a fee.

However, they are not there yet.

And Tuttosport report that Juventus are also targeting Henrique. Moreover, they sense an opportunity to get in ahead of Inter and sign Henrique.

This would not exactly be without precedent in recent seasons.

The Bianconeri signed Bremer from Torino in 2022, when Inter had been confident for weeks that they would be able to wrap up a deal for the Brazilian.

Therefore, Tuttosport report, the Turin giants could look to pull off something similar with Luis Henrique.

However, the newspaper add, Inter remain confident behind the scenes. They feel that they are in firm control and will complete the signing soon.
