La Lazio Siamo Noi claims Juventus have opened talks in recent hours with the representatives of Lazio midfielder Kenneth Taylor.

The Dutchman joined in January from Ajax for €15 million and quickly became an automatic starter in Maurizio Sarri’s depleted midfield. He made 17 Serie A appearances, scoring three goals and supplying two assists, plus four Coppa Italia outings.

His form has drawn interest across Europe, with Premier League clubs said to be monitoring. The report states president Claudio Lotito and sporting director Angelo Fabiani deem him untouchable and would only consider offers around €50 million, potentially dropping towards €40 million if the player pushes to leave.

The report adds Juventus cannot move decisively until a midfield slot is freed, with Teun Koopmeiners the preferred departure after two underwhelming campaigns in Turin following a €60 million switch from Atalanta in summer 2024.

On Thursday, Gennaro Gattuso sent Taylor from the morning session after he protested too strongly over a team-mate’s challenge. He rejoined the group in the afternoon and the episode was treated in light-hearted fashion.
