Juventus are moving away from their idea of signing Jean-Clair Todibo from West Ham United in the January transfer window, which leaves the Bianconeri mulling over potential deals for Newcastle’s Lloyd Kelly and Feyenoord’s David Hancko according to reports on Friday evening.

Juve have already made two signings official in January in the form of Randal Kolo Muani and Alberto Costa, while Renato Veiga is expected to be announced in the coming days after an agreement was struck between the Bianconeri and Chelsea.

However, even though Juventus have added two defenders to their ranks, they are still after a centre-back to replace Bremer, who suffered a cruciate ligament (ACL) injury earlier in the season.

Reports on Thursday claimed that Juventus were considering going back in for one of their long-standing targets, Todibo, at West Ham, but Friday’s reports claim that he is no longer a viable option for Thiago Motta’s side.

According to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio, West Ham are not interested in sending Todibo out on loan, even with an option or obligation to buy included in the deal, which means that Juve will have to look elsewhere.

Among the candidates to move to Turin this month are still Kelly and Hancko of Newcastle and Feyenoord respectively.
