Juventus are prepared to sanction the departure of Jonathan David this summer as the striker’s tenure in Turin continues to be underwhelming.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Canadian international has struggled to make an impact since arriving on a free transfer, leading the club to consider a sale for a fee in the region of €30m. The valuation reflects a notable decline in his market price, largely attributed to his diminished role within the squad.
Under the guidance of Luciano Spalletti, David has slipped down the pecking order and is now firmly behind Jeremie Boga. With the manager favoring other profiles to lead the line, David’s lack of consistent minutes and output has turned him into a secondary option.
As the Bianconeri look to reshape their offensive unit for the next campaign, they appear ready to cut ties with the forward and recoup a significant capital gain from his initial free arrival.
