Juventus’ 1-0 defeat to Lazio cost Igor Tudor, now effectively the former Juventus manager, his job.
The Croatian coach leaves the Bianconeri after picking up 12 points from his first eight games. Furthermore, the “Old Lady” hasn’t picked up three points in the league since the match against Inter on September 13th.
The Turin club’s Champions League campaign has also been less than stellar so far: two draws against Borussia Dortmund and Villarreal and a defeat against Real Madrid. Juventus announced the manager’s dismissal in a statement published on their website.
According to the latest report by Sky Sport, former Roma and Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti is being eyed as Tudor’s successor.
