Corinthians forward Kaio César has been charged by the STJD for an unsporting or hostile act in the 1-1 draw with Bahia, and could be suspended for one to three matches, according to Globo.com.

He was cited under article 250 of the CBJD for forcefully pushing an opponent or team-mate outside the play.

The case is listed before the fourth Disciplinary Commission on Thursday at 10:00, Brasília time.

The incident came at the end of the first half after a duel involving Zé Guilherme and Kaio César, with referee Ramon Abatti Abel having blown for the interval. Alejo Véliz then collided with the forward and fell, claiming contact to his arm. A melee followed between players and staff, and no punishments were issued when play resumed.

The complaint alleges Kaio César triggered the turmoil by moving against Véliz after the whistle, outside any live play. It was not framed as violent conduct because the material, while showing a hostile move, was deemed insufficient to prove a clear physical blow.

Corinthians and Bahia were also cited under article 257 for taking part in a brawl, conflict or tumult, which carries a fine of up to R$ 20,000. The referee was reported under article 266 for failing to record disciplinary incidents, and the match report did not mention the fracas.

Corinthians sit ninth in the Brasileirão on 28 points and play Athletico-PR on Thursday at 19:30 in round 21.
