Kaio César has been voted Corinthians’ best player for July after topping the Notas da Torcida ratings with an average of 7.1. According to Meu Timao, almost 3,000 evaluations were submitted.

Corinthians played four matches in July, three in the Campeonato Brasileiro and one friendly, earning one win over Remo and three draws. Kaio featured in all of them and scored in the 3-0 victory against Remo, which marked the return to club action after the World Cup. He came off the bench in the most recent outing against Athletico Paranaense as Fernando Diniz rested his starters.

With 2,965 ratings, Kaio led the month’s standings. Zakaria Labyad was second with a 6.0 average, also featuring in every game. Gabriel Paulista completed the top three with three appearances and a 5.9.

Labyad ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and also suffered meniscus damage against Athletico Paranaense, making it unlikely he will play again in 2026. Kaio and Gabriel Paulista could return to Fernando Diniz’s starting XI on Sunday against Internacional in the Copa do Brasil last 16 first leg at Beira-Rio in Porto Alegre, with kick-off at 19:30.

The 22-year-old joined at the start of the season on loan from Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia. He debuted in style, helping secure the Supercopa Rei in a 2-0 win over Flamengo. His Corinthians record is 18 games, eight wins, seven draws and three defeats.
