According to Globo.com, Corinthians will need to pay around six million euros, roughly R$ 34.7 million, to buy 50% of Kaio César’s economic rights and keep him permanently when his Al-Hilal loan ends in December 2026.
The 22-year-old is in his best spell since arriving, beginning to cement a place in Fernando Diniz’s starting line-up after earning more minutes and delivering.
To date he has two goals and two assists for Corinthians. Beyond numbers, he offers pace, penetration and dribbling on the flanks, qualities in short supply in the squad.
Kaio César has said he wants to remain once the loan finishes.
Speaking after the 3-0 win over Remo last Thursday, he added that discussions have not started and that he dreams of a long spell at the club.
Corinthians are back in action on Sunday at 16:00 Brasília time, away to Bahia in Salvador, in the opening round of the first half of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
