According to Meu Timao, Corinthians have unveiled winger Kaio César at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, with president Osmar Stabile and executive Marcelo Paz present. The new number 37 discussed his fitness and how he believes he can contribute in the coming weeks.
Officially announced last Thursday, he debuted on Sunday in the win over Flamengo that secured the Supercopa, setting up Yuri Alberto’s stoppage-time winner.
He believes he is in good physical condition after arriving from mid-season, though he needs more minutes to sharpen his rhythm. He believes he brings intensity, helps both offensively and defensively, often supports the full-back, and will follow coach Dorival’s instructions.
The presentation had been set for Friday but was postponed after heavy rain left the facility without power.
He joins on loan until the end of 2026, with a fixed option of six million euros, about R$ 37 million, for 50% of his economic rights from Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.
Kaio featured 19 times for Al-Hilal in the season that began in August, starting six, with one goal and three assists. He was requested by Dorival, who wants more pace in attack. Before Asia, he played for Coritiba and Vitória de Guimarães in Portugal.
He is Corinthians’ fourth signing of the window, following Gabriel Paulista, Matheus Pereira and Pedro Milans. The club also has an agreement for goalkeeper João Ricardo of Fortaleza, who is expected to undergo medical tests in São Paulo between March and April.
