Chiefs reveal new date for postponed Galaxy tie

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed a new date for their postponed Betway Premiership fixture against TS Galaxy back in September.

Amakhosi were due to face the Rockets on 21 September, but had CAF Confederation Cup commitments in the first leg of the first preliminary round against Kabuscorp SCP on 20 September.

An alternative date on the weekend of 14 September was also unavailable due to the Mbombela Stadium hosting the MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC.

Now, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has advised that Chiefs will square off against Galaxy on 07 December, with kick-off scheduled for 15h30 at Mbombela.

Furthermore, the Glamour Boys' match against Magesi FC, originally penciled in for 26 November, has also been postponed due to the Soweto giants' continental duties.

Chiefs will travel to Egypt where they are set to open their group stage campaign with a clash against last season's semi-finalists Al Masry on Sunday, 23 November.
