Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the departure of two players during the PSL transfer deadline day on Monday, 22 September.
Amakhosi did a squad overhaul in the just-ended window, parting ways with Ranga Chivaviro, Tebogo Potsane, Sabelo Radebe, and Mduduzi Mdantsane, amongst others.
This was part of the club’s plans to trim the bloated squad following the arrival of a host of players to bolster the team for the ongoing season.
Now, recent exits include defender Happy Mashiane and midfielder Samkelo Zwane, who both fell down the pecking order at Naturena.
The duo has been loaned out to newly rebranded Betway Premiership club Siwelele FC, who purchased the PSL status of SuperSport United in July.
Foot Africa previously reported in August that Chiefs are exploring loan deals for Mashiane and Zwane, along with goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari.
The Tembisa-born left-back will be determined to get his career back on track as it has been downhill since he was red carded in the CAF Champions League final in 2021.
Meanwhile, the young midfielder will also be keen to get a run of games in a bid to accumulate more experience in the topflight.
