Utrecht came from behind to beat Groningen 2-1 at the Euroborg, climbing from 10th to ninth in the Eredivisie.
In the 52nd minute, Younes Taha swept in from the centre of the box after Tyrique Mercera's low pass to put Groningen ahead. Dani de Wit levelled (79.) from close range, fed by Gjivai Zechiël. Jesper Karlsson won it in the first minute of second half stoppage time with a composed finish.
Before the break, Etienne Vaessen kept Groningen in it with saves from Artem Stepanov and Yoann Cathline. Vasilis Barkas later tipped away Oskar Zawada's long-range effort.
Substitutes shifted the game. Miguel Rodríguez, then Karlsson and David Min, injected impetus as the visitors turned pressure into goals.
Five minutes were added at the end, and Utrecht made them count.
Utrecht registered 15 attempts with seven on target. Groningen posted 11 attempts and two on target.
