Kean vs. Vlahovic: Juventus and Fiorentina numbers compared | OneFootball

After hitting a brace in Fiorentina’s 3-0 victory over Inter on Thursday night, some outlets are beginning to suggest that Juventus might have some ‘regrets’ over their decision to sell the the Italy international over the summer, particularly when Dusan Vlahovic has struggled at times this campaign. Here is how the two compare in 2024-25.

Kean joined Fiorentina from Juventus in a deal worth €13m plus €5m in bonuses over the summer. His Bianconeri contract had been due to expire at the end of the 2024-25 campaign. He is now tied to a contract that runs until 2029 in Tuscany.

It has been a largely successful time for Kean since then. Following his brace against Inter, he is now up to 15 league goals for the season, which makes him the division’s second highest goalscorer behind international teammate Mateo Retegui.

With Coppa Italia and Conference League fixtures factored in, Kean is up to 19 goals from 28 appearances in all competitions this term, and at his current goalscoring rate, is on course to hit 30 by the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

In all competitions, the Italy international is currently averaging a goal every 115 minutes.

Back at Juventus, however, Vlahovic, who was the second-highest goalscorer in the division last term, is currently on eight goals from 19 appearances in Serie A this season.

The Serbian has decent numbers in front of goal in the Champions League with four from seven appearances this term and also has one in the Coppa Italia for a tally of 13 goals from 28 appearances in all competitions.

With those numbers, Vlahovic is currently averaging a goal every 155 minutes in all competitions, compared to Kean’s one in every 115.
