Fluminense said in a post on Friday afternoon that goalkeeper Kemelli, 26, has signed a contract until December 2027 after leaving Corinthians at the end of 2025.
Her Corinthians exit was confirmed in the mixed zone after the 1-0 win over Palmeiras in the second match of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino final.
Born in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, she returns to her home state and to the club that developed her. She came through Fluminense’s youth system before starting her professional career with Criciúma at 16.
Across five seasons at Corinthians, Kemelli made 57 appearances and won seven titles, building a strong bond with the club’s supporters.
Also departing at the end of last season were forward Eudimilla to Santos, centre-back Mariza to Tigres in Mexico, and full-backs Letícia Santos to Santos and Paulinha, who has yet to confirm a new club.
The Brabas are in London, England, preparing for the FIFA Champions Cup. They face Gotham FC of the United States on Wednesday at 9:30, Brasília time, in the semi-final.
