Italian youth international midfielder Kenneth Mensah, 17, has signed his first professional contract with Leeds United, a two-year deal running to 2028.
The club said in a statement that he advanced from the under-18s to make his under-21s debut, and ended last season on loan with National League North side Scarborough Athletic.
Mensah made 22 appearances for Rob Etherington’s Under-18s last term, scoring five, before stepping up to Scott Gardner’s Under-21s.
He has been capped by Italy at youth level four times. His U16 debut came as a substitute against Germany, followed by another meeting with Germany and two games against Czechia.
Leeds congratulated the midfielder and said they are excited to see his progression over the coming years.
