Trent, Vinicius, Tchouameni not in training

Indeed, according to journalist Melchor Ruiz of COPE, key Real Madrid trio Trent Alexander-Arnold, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Vinicius Jr. did not take part in the training session today.

As per the update, Trent is not present at Valdebebas today as he is down with a viral infection.

As for Tchouameni, who was absent from group training on Wednesday as well, he is understood to be dealing with discomfort in his right leg.

Finally, Vinicius, who also did not train with the group yesterday, misses out today due to personal reasons, with permission from the club.

The Brazilian international, as things stand, is unlikely to play against Athletic Club on Saturday in order to avoid any risks before the World Cup.

Good news with Carvajal

At the same time, Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal is training normally with the group and is expected to be available on Saturday.

It will be a special occasion for the 34-year-old right-back as he will leave the club at the end of the season, and use the upcoming game to say goodbye to the fans at the Bernabeu.

Meanwhile, Federico Valverde once again trained normally after recovering from his head injury, and is expected to receive medical clearance for Saturday.

Andriy Lunin, who missed the last couple of matches due to illness, also trained with the group and is set to be available.

Rodrygo Goes, Ferland Mendy, and Eder Militao are continuing their recoveries after undergoing surgery.
