Fran Kirby says reaching the FA Cup final with Brighton would be “so special” after knocking out Arsenal to reach the semi finals of the competition.
Kirby set up both goals, scored by Madison Haley and Caitlin Hayes, to help her side to a 2-0 win.
But the former Chelsea forward already has her sights set on going a step further.
“It’s a really exciting moment,” she said.
“I always say to the girls, going to the FA Cup final and playing at Wembley is one of the best days of your life. From the minute you wake up to when it’s over, it’s just so special.
“It’s something that I want to experience again as a player. It’s been a while now so hopefully we can go one step further.

“The changing room is in a really, really good place at the moment. It’s a really good group of players. It’s a group of players that are hungry, that believe we can do something special.
“We talk about it every day and even coming into this game, we knew Arsenal are a fantastic side and have fantastic players and collectively they’re really good.
“We knew we had to be at 100% today and everyone brought that. I’m just so proud of everyone.”
