The England U21 national team won 4-0 in Moldova in the European Championship qualifiers. BVB midfielder Jobe Bellingham played the full 90 minutes.

Italy U21 4-0 Sweden U21

The Italian youth team defeated Sweden 4–0 in the European Championship qualifiers. BVB centre-back Filippo Mane played for 90 minutes and helped maintain their flawless record (three games, three wins) in the European Championship qualifiers.

Sweden 0-2 Switzerland

The Borussia duel between Daniel Svensson and Gregor Kobel went to the Dortmund goalkeeper. Switzerland won the World Cup qualifier in Solna 2-0. Kobel played the full 90 minutes, while Svensson came on as a substitute in the 72nd minute. After three games, Switzerland are top of qualifying group B, while Sweden are bottom with just one point.

Germany 4-0 Luxembourg

The German national team significantly improved its position in the World Cup qualifying group with a 4-0 win over Luxembourg. In Group A, coach Julian Nagelsmann's team are at the top of the table with six points from three games. Northern Ireland and Slovakia follow with the same number of points, but have a worse goal difference.

Karim Adeyemi and Nico Schlotterbeck were in the starting line-up on Friday. Schlotterbeck was substituted after 45 minutes, with Waldemar Anton replacing him. Adeyemi left the pitch after just under an hour (61). Maximilian Beier came on for Serge Gnabry in the 68th minute. Felix Nmecha did not feature.
