Kompany and Olise named Bundesliga coach and player of the Season by German professional footballers' union | OneFootball

Vincent Kompany has been voted as the Bundesliga coach of the season by the VDV [German professional footballers' union]

With 71.8% of the vote, the Belgian finished ahead of Mainz's Urs Fischer [6.4 percent] and Freiburg's Julian Schuster [5.5 percent].

Regarding the players, Michael Olise has been nominated as the Bundesliga Player of the Season alongside his coach.

The French playmaker claimed 71.8% of the votes, ahead of teammate Harry Kane who finished with 23.9%.of the total. 

Regarding best newcomers, RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande (30.6%) pipped Lennart Karl (20.7%) with 1.FC Köln's Said El Mala (17.1%) third.
