Vincent Kompany has almost a full complement of players to choose from. Serge Gnabry, who had to sit out the 6-2 Bundesliga win over Freiburg due to knee problems, is back in the squad as he was in London. Luis Diaz also returns compared to the Champions League game. The Colombian is suspended for a total of three games in the top flight (red card), while Dayot Upamecano is given a break and is not in the squad

Kompany will still have to do without Alphonso Davies (recovery training after a cruciate ligament rupture) and Jamal Musiala (rehab after a fractured fibula)

In front of Manuel Neuer in goal, Vincent Kompany has opted for a back four of Konrad Laimer, Minjae Kim, Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof. Kim has mostly had to sit on the bench in recent weeks

Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlovic will start in defensive midfield, with the attacking trio of Lennart Karl, Raphael Guerreiro and Luis Diaz in front of them. Harry Kane is set to start in the center of attack

The German record champions are top of the Bundesliga table with 26 points after 11 games, but RB Leipzig dropped points (26 points) in a 0-0 draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday evening. A win could therefore extend Vincent Kompany’s team’s lead to eight points
