Vincent Kompany provided a fitness update on 32-year-old Harry Kane ahead of Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga meeting with St. Pauli on Saturday. According to BuLi News, the Bayern coach spoke on Friday following the striker’s midweek return.
Kane came back from injury to score and complete 90 minutes in a 2-1 win over Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final three days ago.

Kompany said Kane felt fine after the Real match and had played a little beyond his pain threshold. He added there was no reaction the next day, which he called the most important thing.
With the return leg against Real Madrid on Wednesday, Kane could be rested at the weekend.
Nicolas Jackson is ready to deputise if required after serving a two-match suspension.
