Kylian Mbappé has taken on the role of an unofficial recruiter for Real Madrid, with his prime target being his international teammate, Liverpool's Ibrahima Konaté. The defender confessed that Mbappé is relentless in his efforts, joking about the constant stream of phone calls urging him to make the switch to the Spanish capital.

This persistent courtship comes as Konaté enters a critical phase of his contract with Liverpool. With his current deal set to expire next summer, he will be free to formally discuss terms with overseas clubs as early as January.

Real Madrid's strategy appears to be one of patience, hoping he will follow a path similar to Trent Alexander-Arnold's and allow his contract to wind down.
