Manchester United could be tempted to further improve their attack this summer, despite investing a small fortune in the position last year. The Red Devils signed Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha to upgrade their frontline before the start of the new season.
United have subsequently been rewarded for their efforts, with the trio, along with new arrival Senne Lammens, playing a starring role in their rise of late. The English giants are now third in the Premier League table after 29 games and have a good chance of securing qualification for next season’s Champions League.
The midfield is expected to be at the centre of the Red Devils’ plans for the summer owing to Casemiro’s impending departure. However, United could also be tempted to add another wide player to their squad, given that they lack a natural left winger.
A recent report relayed by The Peoples Person has stated that United have identified Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) stalwart Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as an option for the job.
The Georgian first caught the eye during his stint with Napoli, helping them secure the Serie A title in the 2022/23 season. He was in such good form in the 2024/25 season that the Parisians prised him away from the Serie A champions in January 2025 in a reported €80 million deal.
Kvaratskhelia responded by helping the French champions secure a historic treble that season. The 25 year old has struggled to replicate that form in his second campaign with PSG, but he has still registered nine goals and six assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.

His efforts have already earned him admirers at Old Trafford, while Arsenal also have their eyes on the player. It was recently suggested that Kvaratskhelia could leave the Parc des Princes this summer amid reports of unrest behind the scenes.
However, the player has now effectively put all those rumours to bed.
Speaking to Le Parisien, as cited by GOAL, the Georgian insisted that he is settled at PSG. He said: “For me, Paris is truly extraordinary. You have everything here, and above all, this is the city of love. When PSG contacted me, I thought my wife was the happiest person in the world.”
“Before PSG contacted me, she always said, ‘Imagine if one day we play for PSG, it would be amazing to stay there.’ In my mind, I think it’s very difficult to go there when there are great players like [Lionel] Messi, Neymar and [Kylian] Mbappe. I love everything about Paris. The more I think about it, the more I appreciate how respectful the people are there.”
Kvaratskhelia is under contract with the French champions until 2029, so there is no urgency to let him leave this summer.
Having only joined PSG in January 2025, Kvaratskhelia was never likely to consider an immediate exit this summer, and his recent comments have all but ended speculation linking him to Old Trafford. United, meanwhile, should stick to their recent strategy of signing Premier League-proven players, which has worked wonders.
