Kylian Mbappé and Aurélien Tchouaméni completed Real Madrid’s full training session on Friday morning, two days before the Clasico at Barcelona on Sunday at 21:00.

According to L'Équipe, Mbappé has been sidelined since 24 April with a left hamstring issue and this was his first full group session since the injury. He should be among those called up by Alvaro Arbeloa for a match that could hand the Catalans the Spanish title.

After medical tests on Thursday, the forward received the green light from the medical staff to resume competition. He still only joined part of that day’s collective work before continuing his programme indoors.

His starting place on Sunday is not assured, and for now he appears more likely to begin on the bench.

Meanwhile, Tchouaméni, who was involved in a fight with team-mate Federico Valverde during Thursday’s training, also took part in the full session on Friday.
