According to a recent report from Fichajes, Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe playfully suggested to his French teammate Michael Olise that he should join him at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Olise, currently with Bayern Munich, has impressed with his rapid development and is already being recognised as one of Europe’s brightest attacking talents.

During a training camp with the French national team, Mbappe reportedly turned to Olise in a light-hearted moment, saying, “You have to come to Madrid.”

While the exchange was meant as a joke, those at Valdebebas took notice. The outlet suggests that the playful comment has not gone unnoticed by Real Madrid, though it does not currently indicate a formal pursuit.

Offence is already crowded

For now, Olise is not considered a priority for Real Madrid’s sporting management.

The squad’s attacking options are already stacked, especially after the arrival of Franco Mastantuono from River Plate.

Both Endrick and Gonzalo Garcia, who impressed during the Club World Cup, are competing for the role of Mbappe’s backup, making the right-wing position highly contested.

What about the wings?

Furthermore, while the left flank appears somewhat calmer, with planned rotation between Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo designed to keep both players motivated, the right-wing area remains a delicate spot.

This is precisely where Olise excels naturally, making him an ideal candidate in theory.

However, the current squad depth and strategic priorities mean that any move is unlikely in the immediate future.

Despite this, the playful interaction between Mbappe and Olise shows the French forward’s influence within the squad and hints at the type of talent Real Madrid could consider in upcoming windows.

While a signing might not be imminent, the club will certainly keep an eye on Olise as a potential future reinforcement for the right flank.
