France captain Kylian Mbappé watched Côte d'Ivoire v Cameroon in Marrakech on Sunday, alongside his brother Ethan.

According to L'Équipe, Mbappé, Barcelona right-back Jules Koundé and his Real Madrid team-mate Aurélien Tchouaméni travelled to Morocco for the Group F fixture, although they were not seated together in the stands.

With the Spanish season in its winter break, the players are taking a few days off.

Mbappé had already been in Morocco for the hosts’ 1-1 draw with Mali, and again took his place in the Marrakech stands. The Real Madrid forward has Cameroonian heritage through his father.

Real Madrid resume competitive action by hosting Betis on Sunday 4 January at 16:15, while Barcelona face Espanyol the day before at 21:00.
