Sevilla dominated Real Oviedo 4-0 on Sunday, December 14th, in the 16th round of the Spanish La Liga at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium. Both Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke found the net for the Andalusians in a match that showcased Sevilla’s overwhelming superiority.
Akor Adams opened the scoring just four minutes into the game. The Nigerian striker capitalized on a precise assist from Lucien Agoumé to get things underway. This goal ended a long scoreless streak for the 25-year-old forward.
Adams didn’t just score his third goal of the season—he also turned provider for Sevilla’s third, setting up Batista Mendy right after halftime.
In the dying moments of the match, Chidera Ejuke netted Sevilla’s fourth and final goal in stoppage time. The 27-year-old Nigerian winger scored his first league goal of the season.
