OneFootball Videos

Thanks for following along, and we will be back next week!

And here are your final full-time scores from the opening day of the season.

San Jose up and running 3-0 over Sporting KC, Portland edged the Crew 3-2 at the death and San Diego thrashed 10-man Montreal 5-0.

PORTLAND GOES WILD

Today's drama delivered right until the end! It's Ariel Lassiter as the hero in his 11th MLS season. Better late than never, right Timbers fans?

And just look at what the goal means. 🥹

SAN DIEGO SERVING IT UP

Excluding LAFC, the performance of the night might go to San Diego FC. That's five goals now for the club on opening day. An amazing start for their goal differential.

We're trickling down to the final moments here. Let us know what your favourite part of today's action was in the comments below.

Taking the crowd stats one step further, look at that third bullet!

Some historic stats for LAFC tonight.

The Danes are pulling out all the stops tonight.

These West Coast teams really know how to put on a show. LAFC scored three, San Jose scored three and San Diego four! We also have half-an-hour left. 😳

Game knows game

And if it wasn't enough drama on MD1, we have our second red card of the season.

Tomas Aviles heads down the tunnel with over 40 minutes to go. The mountain becomes even bigger for Montreal against San Diego.

Some opening day result this is...

UPDATES FROM AROUND THE GROUNDS

That's a statement result in LA, as MLS Cup holders Miami fall 3-0.

Meanwhile, our West Coast games are kicking off the second half with Sane Jose leading, Portland holding the Crew and San Diego also in front. Stay tuned for more!

IT'S A WALKOVER IN LA

LAFC make it three on the night, and we certainly can't believe what we're seeing. Nathan Ordaz in front of the home crowd as fans erupt.

And the numbers are in from tonight's big game. It's a crowd of 75,673 fans, the highest attendance for an MLS season opener in history.

Might not be smiling in a minute. But that's football!

Looking at the other matches on Saturday, we have perhaps the Goal of the Day contender from Diego Rossi. It's all level at the break between Columbus and Portland.

The Herons have brought on Luis Suarez now to try and save the first game of their season.

What an embarrassing moment for Inter Miami's defence...

LAFC DOUBLE THEIR LEAD

It's two goals to the good for the hosts, this time via the talents of Denis Bouanga following another Miami mistake.

Some shots from inside tonight's big game.

Müller called it.

After an impressive inaugural season, San Diego FC grab the lead over Montreal via Christopher McVey. Might they bring oh-so great again?

Every year, every look.

SECOND HALF UNDERWAY IN LA

We have another 45 minutes of action to come. Will Messi and Miami find a way in?

Here's a look at the Timbers' home faithful. Always a great showing out West!

A new day, Sonny smiles.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have Petar Musa moving up the charts.

That's San Jose against Sporting KC, San Diego host Montreal and Columbus grab an early lead against Portland

And we're finally underway with Saturday's final games for opening day.

RESULTS FROM AROUND THE GROUNDS

It's 2-2 in Austin thanks to a late goal from Minnesota, Houston rallied for a 2-0 win over Chicago, Nashville thrashed New England 4-1 and FC Dallas held off Toronto 3-2.

LAFC take advantage of a mistake. Poor giveaway from Rorigo De Paul and the hosts take their opportunity.

LAFC FIND THE BREAKTHROUGH

It had been coming. It's Son with the assist and David Martinez Morales with the goal.

Brazilian football, always sublime. This wonderful solo from Guilherme tied things up for Houston and nine minutes later, he put them in the lead.

It's a moment to remember for Warren Madrigal!

It appears LAFC are dominating against Miami, except when it comes to scoring. Seven shots to one. Nothing from that man Messi, while Denis Bouanga has five attempts.

Here's a look at the first red card of the season.

Score updates from around the grounds.

Dallas hold a 2-1 lead over Toronto, it's tied 1-1 between Austin and Minnesota, Chicago lead Houston by a goal and Nashville are walking over New England 4-1.

Roughly 30 minutes to go in those games.

HUGE CHANCE MISSED

After Messi scuffed his chance, the same thing happens at the other end, but this time for Son. How did he not make the most of the opportunity here?

KICK OFF FOR THE BIG GAME

Two minutes into LAFC against Miami, Lionel Messi almost scored. Buckle up!

With his mate in hand...

Here's a look at the Whitecaps' winning goal. Can they win the MLS Cup this year?

FULL-TIME AROUND THE GROUNDS

That's a 1-0 win for Vancouver over RSL, plus the teenagers pushed NYRB to a 2-1 win over Orlando City.

The first red card of the season, meanwhile, won't be enjoyed by Philadelphia as they fall to D.C. United 0-1.

Sam Surridge, have yourself a Saturday!

And here's your XI for the big game of the night...

FIRST RED OF THE SEASON

It's Ezekiel Alladoh who goes walking after what appears to be a confrontation with the referee in his MLS debut.

Things have gone from bad to worse for Philadelphia against D.C. United

TORONTO RESPONDS!

It's the captain to Djordje Mihailovic. Great awareness and vision from the duo.

We also have goals in Austin and Dallas, but for our Canadian fans out there, Toronto FC are the first from the northern clubs to score this season.

SURRIDGE STARS!

And on the same day as signing his contract extension, it's Sam Surridge with the opener for Nashville. Back doing what he does best.

KICK OFF

It's Austin against Minnesota, Toronto make the trip to Dallas, Houston host Chicago and Nashville welcome New England.

Four more games underway now as our early evening shows enter half-time.

TEENAGE DREAM FOR NYRB

Here's a look at the link-up between two young, bright stars. Hall is the first to earn a brace in the 2026 season.

Oh my... let's make that two for the teenager Julian Hall!

And here's a look at the scenes in LA.

The Black and Gold face Lionel Messi and Inter Miami in just over an hour.

A little bit of history for NYRB tonight.

LOOK AT THE CELEBRATION!

And that goal really, really meant something. Check it out...

Our first villain arc of the season. Tai Baribo, after a stellar 2025, was questionably traded by the Union to D.C. United.

So, of course, he's scored on MD1.

Drama for D.C United now ... poor Phildadelphia Union

GOAL! NYRB OFF THE MARK

It's Julian Hall with the opener for the visitors in Florida, following an assist from Emil Forsberg. Goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau won't like that one.

KICK OFF

And there we have it, another six teams begin their 2026 campaign.

Orlando host NYRB while D.C United welcome Philadelphia to town and Vancouver face Real Salt Lake.

Müller, meanwhile, isn't the only major star to recently switch to MLS.

Read how Colombian legend James Rodriguez leads 7 new signings we can’t wait to see this season.

After a stellar campaign last season, Thomas Müller and the Vancouver Whitecaps will look to go just one step further and win the MLS Cup.

Hear from the German legend ahead of kick-off.

KEY INJURY

Unfortunately for Cincinnati, their opening day victory will be overlooked because star man Evander was forced off injured after just 10 minutes.

There was also a special, special moment tonight for Nick Hagglund. An incredible recovery story.

Here's a full overview of the action to come.

One of the bigger games to watch is over in the West. 👀

LAFC welcome Lionel Messi and Inter Miami to town. Opening day blockbuster!

FIRST GOAL OF THE SEASON

Speaking of, take a look at the first goal of the season below. Marcel Hartel struck a drive from outside the box, but let's talk about that assist from Simon Becher. Wow!
